摘要: Fatigue of voluntary muscular effort is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon. peripheral nervous system components, including the contractile apparatus neuromuscular junction, has been well studied. Central components also fatigue, but studies have lagged for want objective methods. Transcranial magnetic stimulation relatively new technique that can be used to assess central excitability from motor cortex alpha-motoneuron. In six normal volunteers, four investigators, amplitudes evoked potentials elicited by transcranial were transiently decreased after exercise, indicating fatigue pathways in system. The decrease amplitude was associated with feeling fatigue. mechanism this phenomenon apparently efficiency generation command cortex.
