摘要: Abstract A technique has been developed to drill into fluid inclusions in halite, extract the inclusion fluids, and determine concentration of all major some minor constituents these fluids. The minimum diameter usable is ca . 250 μm. After dilution, fluids are analyzed by ion chromatography coulometry. Uncertainties cations anions on order 4%. analytical scheme provides much more precise analyses than have available date. a useful starting point for reconstructing composition seawater from which evaporite brines evolved.
