摘要: Fly ash is a by-product, generated due to the use of heavy oil or coal as fuel in power plants. Recently, carbon-rich fly found have ideal compositions catalyst and precursor for carbon nanotube (CNTs) growth by chemical vapor deposition method. The existing methods limitation on producing CNTs large scale. In this work, parameters effecting were investigated. These include temperature, gas pressure, time, flow rate. produced samples characterized different techniques. Consistent results are demonstrated terms CNT uniformity, conversion lengths under optimized values. optimum values provide multiwall with diameters 20–40 nm range.
