摘要: Sebecosuchia was a group of highly specialized cursorial crocodyliforms that diversified during the Cretaceous and persist until end Miocene. Their unique combination cranial post-cranial features indicates they were active terrestrial predators occupied apex Late ecosystems, even competing with theropod dinosaurs. Here, we report discovery earliest sebecid worldwide, first from Eurasia, Ogresuchus furatus gen. et sp. nov., based on semi-articulate specimen located in titanosaurian sauropod nesting ground. The new taxon challenges current biogeographical models about early dispersal radiation crocodylomorphs, suggests an origin much earlier than previously expected. Moreover, potential convergent evolution between linages geographically isolated. Taphonomic evidences suggest died almost same place where fossilized, dinosaur area. Biometric morphologic observations lead to speculate could easily predate hatchlings.
