摘要: This chapter gives an overview on the chemistry of tetravalent lanthanide compounds, especially those cerium. Following a brief introduction, it covers tetrahalides, dioxides, and other lanthanides(IV) salts. Coordination compounds cerium in oxidation state +4 include halogeno complexes oxo acids, β-diketonates related Schiff-base complexes, as well porphyrinates complexes.
