摘要: The molecular structure of the mineral pecoraite, nickel analogue chrysotile formula Ni3Si2O5(OH)4 has been analysed by a combination Raman and infrared spectroscopy. A comparison is made with spectra minerals nepouite synthetic pecoraite. Pecoraite characterised OH stretching vibrations at 3645 3683 cm-1 attributed to inner surface hydroxyl vibrations. Intense bands around 3288 3425 are assigned water strongly hydrogen bonded asbestos-like charactersied SiO 979, 1075, 1128, 1384 cm-1, OSiO chain 616 761 Ni-O(H) 397 451 cm-1.
