摘要: We have compared the inhibitory strengths of eight peptides from chicken histone H5 to that parent protein (189 residues) in complement fixation by guinea pig anti-H5 serum complexed with homologous histone. Two precisely delineated regions (residues 59 65 and 94 99) two less-defined (between 66 93; 100 189) are depicted. The sequences particular consequences quite conserved avian while most variable N-terminal portion 31 residues has no effect.
