摘要: No significant difference in the incidence of induced fibrosarcomas hamster submandibular glands was noted when animals were given a single intraglandular injection 100, 200, 500, and 1000 µg prednisolone concurrently with administration 0.05 ml 0.5% 7:12-dimethylbenz(α)anthracene (DMBA) liquid petrolatum. There was, however, an inhibitory trend when, addition to initial 500 prednisolone, same amount injected i.p. every week throughout experiment. higher but insignificant metastasis prednisolone-treated hamsters as compared controls. Thalidomide failed show any influence on tumors similar procedure using 3 dosage levels, 5- or 10-mg dose, 5-mg plus 5 mg/week.
