Psychopathic traits in non-referred youths : a new assessment tool

摘要: The main aim of this dissertation is to investigate whether traits on the level individual are important in understanding violent, frequent antisocial behavior among adolescents. first four studies included asks individual-level explanations going be a fruitful approach at all. other three speak question which particular characteristics related behavior. Two different large samples 14 16-year-old male and female non-referred adolescents were assessed. mainly assessed with self-report questionnaires but information from parents teachers was also incorporated one samples. Results show that aggressive, for subgroup cuts across social contexts, indicating their aggressive largely dependent characteristics, more than situational factors. It further shown constellation personality involving grandiose, manipulative interpersonal disposition, callous, unemotional affective traits, an impulsive, irresponsible behavioral style, characterizes who have without constellation. This same shows pronounced problem behaviors kinds — early problems, problems inhibiting behaviors, hyperactivity, impulsivity, attention. Moreover, results facet constellation, plays role independently antisocial-related dimensions such as sensation seeking traits.
