摘要: This work investigates the joining between dissimilar materials by using active filler metal paste. Brazing technique was chosen because it is versatile, fast and economical. Butt interlocking designs were used for assemblies. High purity of silver, copper titanium powders with different concentrations to prepared a paste mixture. The wettability has been achieved base partners; where young (contact) angle pure on both stainless steel graphite found 38 °C 67 respectively. Then placed in assemblies as sandwich form. A fixture hold applied some pressure assembly be joined. vacuum furnace 10 -2 torr investigate brazing process. Nitrogen gas pumped into tube at temperature 500 releasing oxygen. Bonding process performed temperatures (850, 900, 950 1000) holding torr. Maximum tensile strength obtained 15Mpa intermediate layer - composed (75%Ti +25%Ag) design. new structure phases are compared materials. These enhanced reliable joint indicates XRD SEM techniques.
