摘要: Metabolic homeostasis, or low-level metabolic steady state, has long been taken for granted in engineering, and research priority always given to understand flux control regulation of the reaction network. In past, this not caused concerns because networks studied were invariably associated with living cells. Nowadays, there are needs reconstruct networks, so homeostasis cannot be granted. For enzyme feedback known explain why metabolites pathways can avoid accumulation. However, we reasoned that further contributing mechanisms. As a new methodology developed, separated cofactor intermediates (CIs) from non-cofactor intermediates, identified an appropriate type open systems operating putative topologies. Furthermore, elaborated criteria tell if multi-enzyme over-all path is vivo nature at level. findings, discovered interactions between inhibition CI turnover, such may well lead emergent property system. To conclude, work offers perspective understanding role CIs presence cell. perspective, might provide clues constructing non-natural using reactions by degenerating
