摘要: Autism is a pervasive developmental disorder appearing before the age of 3, where communication and social interactions are impaired. It also entails stereotypic behavior or restricted interests. Although this was first described in 1943, little still known about its etiology that related disorders. Work with human patients has provided many data on neuropathological cognitive symptoms, but our understanding functional defects at cellular level how they come remains sketchy. To improve situation, autism research need valid animal models. However, despite strong hereditary component, attempts to identify genes have generally failed, suggesting different involved. As high proportion suffering from Fragile X Syndrome show autistic mouse model could potentially serve as for autism. The Fmr1 KO behavioral sensory-motor characteristics been gathered. We present here an assessment features candidate model. conclude mice display several autistic-like features, more work needed validate
