摘要: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is an increasingly common disorder. It characterized by frequent episodes of airway obstruction associated with a reduced caliber the upper and vulnerable to further narrowing collapse. Acute repetitive effects hypopnea include oxygen desaturation, reduction in intrathoracic pressure, excessive daytime sleepiness, impaired executive function central nervous system arousals. The apnea-hypopnea index respiratory distress help quantify severity condition. condition several clinical symptoms which sleepiness considered cardinal symptom. Obesity one major predisposing factors. Three types apneas have been recognized -obstructive, mixed; OSA commonest. This review will cover aspects their radiologic features, diagnosis management.
