摘要: Understanding of the genetic control female reproductive performance in pigs would offer opportunity to utilize natural variation and improve selective breeding programs through marker-assisted selection. The Chinese Meishan is one most prolific pig breeds known, farrowing 3 5 more viable piglets per litter than Western breeds. This difference prolificacy attributed Meishan's superior prenatal survival. Our study utilized a 3-generation resource population, which founder grandparental animals were purebred Duroc pigs, genome scan for QTL. Grandparent, F 1 , 2 genotyped 180 microsatellite markers. Reproductive traits, including number corpora lutea (number = 234), fetuses animal (n 226), teats 801), total born 288), recorded females. Genome-wide significance level thresholds of1, 5, 10% calculated using permutation approach. We identified 9 QTL traits at genome-wise level. Parametric interval mapping analysis indicated evidence 1% significant on SSC 3. Nonparametric found 4 chromosomes SSC3 (P < 0.01), SSC7 SSC8 SSC12 0.05). Partial imprinting affecting teat 0.10) was detected SSC8. Using likelihood-ratio test categorical trait, pin nipples SSC2 SSC16 0.01). Fine regions will be required their application introgression gene cloning.
