Dual-Mode Dual-Band Bandpass Filter Using a Single Slotted Circular Patch Resonator

摘要: A single slotted circular patch resonator is proposed in this letter to design a novel dual-mode dual-band bandpass filter. Four identical arc-oriented slots are first symmetrically etched into the move TM01-like mode lower frequency. Together with TM21-like mode, these two modes make up second passband of pair radial-oriented then edge split TM11-like degenerate modes, which forms passband. Two high-impedance transmission lines connected at 90° angle properly excite four resonant described above. Finally, filter input/output cross coupling designed, fabricated and tested demonstrate filtering performance, exhibits sharp out-of-band rejection skirt good between dual passbands.
