摘要: We consider noninteracting electrons confined to a one-dimensional mesoscopic ring with magnetic flux threading its center, and investigate the response weak perturbing potential due electron-phonon interaction. It is found that tends suppress Peierls instability, leading possibility of transition as adjusted. The corresponding effects on persistent current are also discussed.
