摘要: Abstract Novel AgCl nanotubes/BiOCl nanosheets composite was synthesized by a facile hydrothermal method. Chemical composition and structure were analyzed XRD, HRTEM, SAED, EDS XPS. Structure of 5%AgCl/BiOCl (proportion Ag/Bi molar ratio is 5%) characterized large scale nanotubes decorating along the boundaries BiOCl nanosheets, which first reported. The novel have uniform diameter 5–10 nm with wall thickness about 2 nm. DRS spectra indicate strong visible light response AgCl/BiOCl composites. PL analyses prove higher separation efficiency sustainable redox ability 5%AgCl/BiOCl. Surface area measurements confirm enlargement specific surface due to incorporation hollow tubular AgCl. Adsorption capacity improved 6 times pure removal under irradiation enhanced 10 times. Morphology leads critical role on promoting adsorption photocatalytic performance AgCl/BiOCl.
