摘要: In deregulated power systems, total transfer capability (TTC) analysis is presently a critical issue either in operating or planning because of increased area interchanges among utilities. FACTS devices can be an alternative to reduce the flows heavily loaded lines, resulting capability, low system loss, improved stability network, reduced cost production and fulfilled contractual requirement by controlling network. It important ascertain location for placement these their considerable costs. A method determine suitable locations thyristor controlled series compensators (TCSC) phase angle regulators (TCPAR) based on real flow performance index sensitivity has been suggested, paper, enhancing interconnected system. conceptually reasonable computationally feasible approach developed illustrated example.
