摘要: Summary— Pregnancy is associated with drastic hemodynamic adaptations, including a decrease in peripheral resistance. Vascular resistance substantially influenced by endothelium-derived nitric oxide (NO). This study was designed to investigate whether pregnancy might influence NO-mediated relaxations human arteries. Reactivity of isolated subcutaneous arteries, dissected out abdominal fat from women who underwent laparotomy or cesarean section, studied using small vessel myograph. Addition acetylcholine (1 nM–10 μM) bradykinin precontracted preparations elicited concentration-dependent relaxation responses that were dependent on the presence endothelium and partially inhibited NO-synthase inhibitor nitro-L-arginine (0.1 mM). The similar vessels pregnant non-pregnant women. Nitro-L-arginine mM) had no basal tone inhibitory endothelium-mediated These results indicate NO arteries not altered at end pregnancy.
