CRITICAL IDEALISM AND TRANSCENDENTAL MATERIALISM: A SPECULATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE SECOND PARALOGISM

摘要: This paper argues that the critical doctrine of necessary unity thinking subject propounded in Kant's Second Paralogism contains an idealist commitment to metaphysically exceptional nature unifying activity thought.  Rather than rejecting transcendental framework as necessarily and antagonistic current projects speculative materialism, it is argued philosophy should remain important ingredient any contemporary metaphysics.  The implicit metaphysical idealism Kantian idealism, claimed, end reveals resources within architecture can, if I am right, maintain importance project determining epistemological legitimacy knowledge without reducing metaphysics subjective philosophy.
