摘要: The continued need for opioids to treat pain and their unavoidable link abuse addiction create a risk mitigation approaches that optimize risk-benefit ratio. Abuse-deterrent formulations (ADFs) have emerged as means supporting opioid access while limiting its consequences. Several different types of ADFs including physical barriers tampering, agonist-antagonist formulations, aversion, prodrugs, alternative methods administration. Each these has the potential reduce specific forms prescription abuse. public health burden abuse, but they will require not only technically successful also appropriate scientific assessment, widespread market penetration, rational expectations benefits.
