摘要: Rationale and Objectives: Monochromatic quantitative computed tomography allows a nondestructive measurement of gadolinium (Gd) concentration. This technique was used in the C6 rat glioma model to comparegadopentetate dimeglumine gadobutrol. Methods: Rats bearing late-stage gliomas received 2.5 mmol/kg (392.5 mg Gd/kg) gadopentetate (n = 5) gadobutrol 6) intravenously before imaging session performed at European Synchrotron Radiation Facility. Results: enabled vivo follow-up Gd concentration as function time specified regions interest. Surprisingly, after injection, concentrations center periphery tumor were higher than those although identical normal contralateral area brain. Conclusion: The assessment absolute revealed differences behaviors tumoral tissues despite injections same conditions. These might be attributed different characteristics contrast agents.
