摘要: Abstract A new nondestructive method for measuring waveguide losses is presented. It uses a prism-in coupling to feed the light into and end-fire measure transmitted light. simple both in construction during measurements. Such configuration enables us determine attenuation coefficient which independent of efficiencies out guide laser fluctuation. The results obtained, with this method, on H + He implanted LiNbO 3 waveguides are presented discussed. Therefore, measurements lead calculation an absolute incertitude 0.4 dB cm −1 length cm.
