摘要: Various volatile organic compounds can be found in human transpiration, breath and body odor. In this paper, a novel two-dimensional fluorometric imaging system, known as "sniffer-cam" for ethanol vapor released from palm skin was constructed validated. This system measures concentrations intensities of fluorescence through an enzymatic reaction induced by alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH). The consisted multiple ultraviolet light emitting diode (UV-LED) excitation sheet, ADH enzyme immobilized mesh substrate high-sensitive CCD camera. uses recognition vapor. It measuring nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH), which is produced on the mesh. NADH achieved real-time distribution (0.5-200 ppm). showed rapid accurate responses visible measurement, could lead to analysis metabolism function at real time near future.
