摘要: Modeling forest growth for yield prediction is at a fascinating stage of development. Yield techniques, developed by mensurationists over decades and based on extensive empirical data bases, are increasingly being called into question. Burgeoning eco-physiological research offers tantalizing glimpses mechanistic explanations the process promise that new techniques can be developed.
