摘要: Speech research has made tremendous progress in the past using following paradigm:• define problem,• collect a corpus to objectively measure progress, and• solve problem.Natural language research, on other hand, typically progressed without benefit of any data with which test hypotheses. We describe Air Travel Information System (ATIS) pilot corpus, designed Spoken Language Systems that include both speech and natural component. This marks first full-scale attempt such provides guidelines for future efforts.
