摘要: Picosecond photon-echo experiments were performed on light-hole excitons as well heavy-hole in GaAs single quantum wells at low temperatures and excitation intensities. The absolute values of the exciton dephasing times depend sample quality but ratio both types reveals a strong increase rate when thickness is reduced below 130 \AA{}. This enhanced due to Fano-type resonance lowest state energetically overlapping with electron\char21{}heavy-hole continuum states. experimental results are reasonable agreement those theoretical calculations.
