摘要: While compromised cognition has been identified in individuals at various stages of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), few studies have examined following successful kidney transplants. transplantation typically leads to improvement metabolic factors associated with CKD; however, co-morbid diseases independently linked cognitive compromise often persist. To clarify the neuropsychological presentation transplantation, we assessed and distress 43 transplant recipients, 47 outpatients CKD 52 healthy controls. Findings indicated that post-transplant participants demonstrated significantly poorer verbal memory response inhibition than In addition, performed controls on set-shifting task. No significant differences were found for attention. Only more distressed Results suggest poor executive functioning performance are present both participants. Further research is needed determine etiology extent compromise.
