摘要: The feasibility and preliminary efficacy of a mobile health self-management intervention aimed at improving sleep among older adults with osteoarthritis disturbed were evaluated. This was one-group pre-/posttest pilot study. Feasibility measured by the number participants eligible, enrolled, retained. Primary outcomes Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) score two actigraphy variables: total time (TST) efficiency (SE). Overall step count, self-efficacy (SEff), acceptance difficulties (ASD) mechanisms action variables. Assessments baseline, Week 14 (postintervention), 19 (follow up). Mixed effect models used to measure change over time. Twenty-four (mean age = 71 years) enrolled 22 completed Improvements 1.2 (95% confidence interval [CI] [-2.43, -0.05]; p 0.04) 2.5 CI [0.9, 4.9]; 0.02) points in ISI ASD scores, respectively, found 19-week period. These findings add growing literature that suggests might reap benefits from interventions. Targets Older insomnia symptoms. Intervention description Activity trackers synced dashboard triggered personalized weekly goals motivational messages augmented telephone interviews. Mechanism Physical activity, SEff, ASD. Outcomes Sleep measures. [Res Gerontol Nurs. 2019; 12(4):167-173.].
