摘要: An integrated multiple cross-connect system (10) having remotely located components interconnected by office links (34, 36, 40) is provided. The link carry duplex transmission of an IOL-N signal N multiplexed STS-1P optical signals at OC-N rate, the include data payload and overhead field. Fault coverage information in IOL field are monitored selected points along a path. Upon detecting fault, all monitors path enabled to monitor fault isolate origin detected fault.
