摘要: We explore the consequences of multi-trace deformations in applications gauge-gravity duality to condensed matter physics. find that they introduce a powerful new “knob” can implement spontaneous symmetry breaking, and be used construct type holographic superconductor. This knob tuned drive critical temperature zero, leading quantum point. calculate nontrivial exponents, show fluctuations order parameter are ‘locally’ disordered phase. Most notably dynamical exponent is determined by dimension an operator at argue results robust against corrections discuss various generalizations.
