Land Retirement Program Design and Empirical Assessments In the Presence of Crop Insurance Subsidies

摘要: The U.S. Federal Government implements environmental, biofuels and crop insurance programs that influence land use. They are not well-integrated in cost savings from subsidies acknowledged when screening for retirement or calculating the of programs. We identify evaluate an optimal benefit index enrollment a program includes sub-index to rank according subsidy savings. All else equal, ranked higher Lorenz stochastic order should be retired first.
