摘要: The invention provides high purity alkoxytrimethylsilane fluids of the general formula ROSiMe3 wherein Me is methyl and R a monovalent aliphatic hydrocarbon substituent which ranges from 14 to about 20 carbons, fluid being substantially free organic inorganic contaminants, alkoxytrimethylsilanes are produced by novel process, can be readily incorporated into cosmetic formulations containing components without heating provided improved sensory characteristics compared those corresponding alcohols.
