摘要: The process of creating a finite element mesh is often termed as generation. Mesh generation has always been time-consuming and error-prone process. This true in the practical science engineering computations, where meshes have to be generated for three-dimensional geometries various levels complexity. attempt create fully automatic generator, which particular algorithm that capable generating valid over arbitrary domains needs only information specified geometric boundary domain required distribution size, started early 1970s. Since then, many methodologies proposed different algorithms devised development generators. chapter focuses on methods based advancing front method Delaunay triangulation method. These are basis existing programs current research. discusses algorithmic procedures two dimensions three dimensions. It also curve surface generations.
