摘要: Abstract : The carbon monoxide layer on a platinum electrode, which is adsorbed at 0.05 V relative to normal hydrogen electrode (NHE) in 0.5l5 M sulfuric acid, and its oxidation dioxide higher potentials has been studied by both electrochemical in-situ Fourier transform infrared reflection-absorption spectroscopy (FT-IRRAS). Polarization modulated FT-IRRAS was used measured the vibrational spectra of as well evolved CO2 function potential. It shown that dominant surface species linearly CO, but bridge bonded oxidized first about 0.20 V, giving rise decrease linear C-O stretching frequency along with broadening band. Oxidation CO begins 0.35 producing further, sharp considerable concluded adlayer produced occurs randomly throughout adlayer, contrast island edges, characteristic 0.4 V. proposed difference behavior these two kinds due crystallographic modification when region results density CO.
