摘要: Continuous Fiber Ceramic Composite (CFCC) tubes have been manufactured using cure-on-the-fly and no filament winding by preceramic polymer pyrolysis route. Processing guidelines to effectively use the technique for manufacture of CFCCs are introduced in this paper. The used work is Blackglas (a siloxane polymer). A machine was designed adapt brittle nature fibers relatively low temperature cure polymer. Seven reinfiltration/pyrolysis cycles, with about 17 hours per cycle, were necessary reach a convergence weight. C-ring tests at both room high performed assess quality parts. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) further examine microstructure Effects infrared cure-on-the-fly, fiber coating/material system, part thickness, service on processing mechanical performance studied.
