摘要: The current study aims to explore the effects of fiber orientation angle on low velocity impact behaviors basalt reinforced composite laminates. Samples with four different angles (0o/90o, 15o/-75o, 30o/-60o and 45o/- 45o) fabricated by vacuum assisted resin transfer molding have being tested Charpy test machine. Furthermore, failure modes notched/unnotched samples subjected loadings in flatwise edgewise directions been examined detailly understand fracture behavior. results showed that has substantial energy absorption capability toughness samples. increment was led increases toughness, reduction damage. best values as 3.07 J 34.82 kJ/m 2 for respectively, are obtained from notched loading having (45o/-45o) angle. Almost all exhibited matrix fragmentation, delamination, cracking pull-out, respectively. most destructive were observed laminate (0o/90o)
