Critical behavior of Born-Infeld AdS black holes in the extended phase space thermodynamics

摘要: We study the thermodynamics of $D$-dimensional Born-Infeld AdS black holes in extended phase space. find that usual small-large hole transition, which exhibits analogy with Van de Waals liquid-gas system holds all dimensions greater than three. However, different from four-dimensional case, higher dimensional there is no reentrant transition. For three-dimensional AS hole, does not exist critical phenomena.
