摘要: Abstract Feed intake, in vivo digestibility, and nitrogen balance of common oak ( Quercus calliprinos ) browse vetch hay were determined two trials using native Mamber black goats. Vetch served as a control treatment for evaluating the methodological accuracy experimental system. Individual average intake was 63 94 g/day/kg (W 0.75 ), organic matter digestibility 46% 61%, (N retention g/day/goat) −0.6 4.9 hay, respectively. Accordingly, Q. , used sole feed goats could supply energy but not protein requirements maintenance. Intake, similar to values studies other species Mediterranean region, deviated from data USA. Possible reasons this difference, such different content secondary compounds tannins, goat breed duration adaptive interactions between plants, are discussed.
