摘要: The lysosomotropic nature of amantadine suggested potential as an antimalarial. Sensitivity tests to hydrochloride alone and in combination with chloroquine were carried out 96-well microtitre plates using the tritiated hypoxanthine uptake method measure parasite growth. Amantadine has antimalarial activity. is more potent against chloroquine-resistant strains. Combinations result slight synergy both resistant sensitive
