摘要: The thermal conversion of N2O on Rh(111) single-crystal surfaces has been studied using a collimated effusive molecular beam technique coupled with mass spectroscopy detection. decomposition pure was determined to occur at temperatures as low 120 K, follow first-order kinetics, and lead the stoichiometric production N2(g) atomic adsorbed oxygen. Lower rates total yields are observed increasing reaction temperatures, presumably because increased importance desorption surface mobility in overall kinetics. is poisoned by oxygen byproduct unless reducing agent such CO used for their removal from surface, which case reduction can be carried out catalytically. Steady-state were different N2O:CO mixtures, deemed controlled rate removal, not N2O. role an intermediate during NO red...
