摘要: Corrosion of reinforcement is a major problem for the durability reinforced concrete structures. Generally, corrosion caused by carbonation or chlorides. Earlier studies have mainly been focused on influence chlorides in uncracked The aim thesis was to investigate cracks corrosion, especially chlorideinduced corrosion. Furthermore, test method developed authors this matter. In first part report, literature process and are presented. Reinforcement influenced many factors such as relative humidity, temperature. second part, experiments were carried out initiation propagation process. Especially, their effect period chloride-induced studied. Three groups beams cast. group A loaded cracking, load kept during test. B thereafter unloaded. C considered reference which not loaded, thus uncracked. All three exposed salt water. Small covers (20mm) high concentrated solutions (10%) used order get limited time. Half cell potential measurements when started. results show that started already after about 2 weeks 3-4 B. However, did start 12 exposure specimens C. Thus, indicated presence strongly influences time but also width initiation.
