摘要: The EU-ICT FET Project ILHAIRE is aimed at endowing machines with automated detection, analysis, and synthesis of laughter. This paper describes the Body Laughter Index (BLI) for detection laughter starting from analysis body movement captured by a video source. BLI algorithm described, index computed on corpus videos. assessment means subject's rating also presented. Results show that can successfully distinguish between different videos laughter, even if improvements are needed respect to perception subjects, multimodal fusion, cultural aspects, generalization broad range social contexts.
