Mental Illness and Families

摘要: In this chapter, we present the most recent research findings related to causes, courses, and treatment of mental illness as a family stressor. We discuss topics relevant families coping with mentally ill members in reference ABC-X model stress, use personal narratives throughout chapter illustrate links between issues components model. addition, adopt systems perspective, focus on system unit analysis, order demonstrate how all interact when is one or more who suffer from disorder. Thus, reformulate questions regarding cause, assessment resources, options within framework (e.g., What do interaction patterns look like that contain suffering disorders? are useful methods ameliorate burdens members? effective way deliver community-based resources members?).
