摘要: This study was conducted to evaluate phagocyte function in patients with age-related chronic inflammatory conditions. It included 95 PMR, 17 GCA, 40 EORA, and 25 age-matched HCs. Serum IL-8 determined a bead array. The chemotactic capacity, phagocytic ability, oxidative burst activity of circulating leukocytes were flow cytometry kits. Patients active diseases showed significant increase levels that remained elevated PMR or despite treatment. No correlation found between the migratory capacity neutrophils. Neutrophils from EORA without stimulus after fMLP stimuli higher migrate than those HCs (P=0.033). granulocytes GCA significantly (P<0.05). percentage MFI phagocytes produce ROIs when stimulated Escherichia coli reduced neutrophils monocytes age-restricted We concluded effector functions phagocytes, be chemotaxis, phagocytosis, burst, are deregulated disorders may have pathogenic role.
