摘要: Although neural occlusion has been suggested to occur between the central and reflex mechanisms increasing arterial pressure, evidence consistent with this phenomenon is lacking. To assess possibility of we recorded, in chloralose-anesthetized cats, pressor responses statically contracting hindlimb muscles electrically stimulating histologically confirmed sites posterior hypothalamus subthalamus. We also recorded topical application capsaicin onto intestine stimulation these diencephalic sites. The simultaneous static contraction were significantly smaller than algebraic sum evoked separately. Likewise, High intensity L7 dorsal root or similar magnitude two separately; thus, inability maneuvers evoke that summed algebraically was not due fact they caused a maximal effect. Our findings are hypothesis occurs during diencephalon muscular contraction.
