摘要: SUCCESS or failure of islet isolations are usually determined by the absolute number isolated islets equivalents (IEQ) obtained after digestion and subsequent purification. Determination variability insulin content native endocrine pancreas may serve as a basis for analysis enormous human isolation outcome. Although some efforts have been made to estimate using different morphometrical methods extraction, little is known about recovery initial mass from procedures. Therefore, present study aimed prove efficiency our standard procedure (digestion-filtration), purification technique (continuous ficoll gradient), 22°C culture (CMRL 1 10% FCS) recover pancreatic tissue.
