摘要: Nonfouling surfaces play a very important role for the development of biosensors,1 medical implants,2 and drug delivery vehicles.3 However, few materials modification methods have been reported to improve nonfouling properties effectively conveniently. Among these materials, zwitterionic polymers, with both positive negative charges on side chains, showed excellent in our previous studies.4–7 Based studies, it was hypothesized that nanometer-scale homogeneous mixture balanced charge groups will present protein-resistant properties. Recently, this assumption has proved hydrogels via free radical polymerization,8 polymer thin films 9 surface-initiated atom transfer polymerization (SI-ATRP) self-assembly. 10, 11 The ratios positively negatively charged monomers need be optimized achieve 1:1 most cases.
