A prospective way of ramp metering using vehicle infrastructure integration system

摘要: As Bluetooth and navigation devices are widely used on latest produced vehicles, vehicle infrastructure integration (VII) system in Intelligent Transport System (ITS) has been given flourishing expectation because of its detection accuracy multiple-information collecting capability. This paper suggests an ideal ITS environment where all vehicles equipped with certain VII device can be recognized by which is capable memorizing vehicles’ route choices. proposed innovative hypothetical theory algorithm coordinated ramp metering takes the advantage system. integrates routing information reading processing average travel distance along freeway. Comparison between new traditional local strategy made time saving observed algorithm.
