摘要: We build a minimal, mean-field, model of plasticity amorphous solids, based upon phenomenology dissipative events derived, in preceding paper [A. Lemaitre, C. Caroli, arXiv:0705.0823] from extensive molecular simulations. It reduces to the dynamics an ensemble identical shear transformation zones interacting via dynamic noise due long ranged elastic fields induced by zone flips themselves. find that these ingredients are sufficient generate flip avalanches with power-law scaling system size, analogous observed further show properties sensitively depend on detailed shape spectrum. This points out importance developing realistic coarse-grained description elasticity systems.
